Environment

At ProAdventure we try our best to be environmentally aware and responsible - you can read our Environmental Policy, and our document 'ProAdventure and the Environment' for more details. All our electricity is bought from Good Energy and is sourced renewably, we use low energy lighting wherever possible and buy fairtrade products.

In 2008 we donated £4,500 to help start the Llangollen and Dee Valley Low Carbon Trust - a new community-based project in conjunction with the local Friends of the Earth group - which aims to face the challenges of climate change and move Llangollen and the surrounding areas towards long term carbon neutrality, whilst also providing economic and community benefits. We look forward to being able to donate more money to the environment this year!
