Bushcraft is all about being able to use the land to make survival easier and more comfortable. Our two day course is about getting to grips and feeling confident with essential skills such as shelter building, firelighting, cooking over a campfire, water purification and lots more. Bushcraft Weekend Course Description This is the course that teaches you how to keep yourself warm, dry, fed and safe whilst outdoors. This knowledge will help you if you go camping, if you like to walk in the hills, if you go canoeing or if you want to rough it out in the sticks. Our instructors dont just teach, they use these skills on their own adventures around the world. These skills enable them to travel lighter, and further, or use the extra space gained by saving on kit to pack more luxuries. We can't value enough the knowledge that enables you to carry less when you're outdoors, and this is the course that shows you how to use minimal kit but gain maximum use out of it. We will cover:-

Reviews***** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was particularly impressed by the quality of the instructors and their genuine expertise in and commitment to the environment. They were unfailingly patient, supportive and generous - and enormous fun to be with. Good job lads! (Incidentally I'm a training manager so I'm used to assessing trainers!) H. S. I did the bushcraft and survival weekend last week and there weren't enough forms to fill in at the end, so I thought I'd just email to say it was excellent. Tom is a great instructor, not too strict! had an awesome time and will certainly be recommending it to all my friends! Also, I would love to volunteer for a weekend or two if Tom ever needs an extra pair of hands! (that's how much I enjoyed the course!). thanks again for a great bushcraft weekend! H.C. Hi ProAdventure Just thought I would write on behalf of my son J and myself regarding our recent survival weekend with your instructor Tom Both J and I thoroughly enjoyed our weekend. We found the course well organised and your instructor Tom was very informative. Tom's style of delivery seemed to put everyone at ease and his ability to hold us together as a group was well received by everyone. We found the pace of the weekend just right and have come away feeling more knowledgeable and comfortable about being in the great outdoors. I would not hesitate to recommend this course to anyone else. Yours R.D and J.D. Best activity I've ever done, it was awesome getting back to basics and learning new skills. Instructors were fantastic and provided just the right amount of guidance without taking over what we were doing, brilliant! D.J. Have had a brilliant time, lots of learning and laughing. Julian, Tom and Dave provided brilliant tuition in a relaxed fun environment. D.Y. A.W. Anon. D.J. I.H. D.Q.
