Open Canoeing Tasters

The best way to journey! Just load up and jump in with your paddling partner for the only way to travel on inland water. We provide buoyancy aids, helmets, and (in poor weather) wetsuits. Please wear clothing and trainers which you do not mind getting wet, and which will not be cold and heavy if they do get wet (no denim please). Bring a towel and a spare change of clothes just in case!

During this half-day session you'll learn various different basic paddling skills, to enable you to paddle forwards, backwards, steer, turn around, move your canoe sideways and stop, all whilst undertaking a short journey on flat water and playing a few games along the way

Please Note: The minimum age for this course is 14 years. ALL under 18 year olds must be accompanied by a responsible participating adult.
