Discover Bushcraft and Survival days

This one day Bushcraft experience is all about getting you to grips with the basics. You will learn how to light a fire from a spark. To do this we will introduce you to tinder and kindling, to the fire triangle, to natural fuel and to the spark striker. Once you have heat, we need to look at shelter. This will cover “tarps” and “debris” styles. Following on from this we will look at various ways of cooking over fires.

By the end of this packed one day course, you will be able to:-

* Light a fire from a spark
* Create a shelter from tarpaulins and natural materials
* Cook in various methods over a fire

The most important of skills required to survive outside!!!

Please Note - Young people aged 14 to 17 years must be accompanied by a participating adult.
