Winter Boots, keep your feet warm and dry
Insulated and waterproof, winter boots will keep your feet warm and dry in the worst of the weather, great for walking, snowshoeing and just shopping in town. Soles designed to grip in snow and ice.
For snow shoeing a heavily stiffened boot is not necessary, just warm, waterproof and comfortable. For extended winter walking and camping a removeable liner is good for wearing in the tent at night. If you get them wet then plastic bags provide a barrier between your socks and the boot.
I spent ages trying to find out what to wear for a winter trip to Sweden snowshoeing for a week, in the end a pair of Hi-Tec winter boots did the job, but the meindl would be even better.
