The Powerplus Barracuda is a waterproof, 3 LED torch that can be recharged either by it's wind-up mechanism, or from the power of the sun via it's built-in solar panel.
With 3 different modes (1 LED, 3 LED and 3 LED flashing) you can choose between optimum brightness or maximum battery life.
The unit is particularly suited for outdoor use since it is waterproof to 5 metres and robust, with a rubberised surround.
Just 1 minutes winding will provide up to 60 minutes of operating time in 3 LED mode, 80 minutes in 1 LED mode and 110 minutes in 3 LED flashing mode.
Exposure to 1 hours sunlight will provide up to 90 minutes of operating time in 3 LED mode, 120 minutes in 1 LED mode and 140 minutes in 3 LED flashing mode.
The unit will be fully recharged after 8 hours in the sun and will then deliver up to 4 hours operation in 3 LED mode.
